Mariah Creations- Review & Giveaway

Just thought I would share with you just a couple of my favorite products from the shop.. If I post everything I like this post would go on forever.

When Mariah asked me which product I would like to have for my Mariah (yes my daughters name is Mariah too), I knew right away this would be hard. I do love though, the patterns she uses because they are not your typical designs. I have always loved the pink/black/white color combo for my daughter and it is not that easy to find.

 I saw the Hot pink zebra pillow case dress  and knew right away that Mariah needed that print. We go to Disneyland every year so this will be perfect for our trip next February/March.

My little princess fell in love as soon as we opened the package. Everything about the dress was perfect and so my daughter. It is very well put together... everything is sewn very well, size 2 dress and fit my daughter great and still has plenty of room for growth. Which with children we know how fast they grow so that is always a major plus to me. The under shorts fit her perfect and were comfortable since I got 0 complaints as my daughter wore them. The headband fit perfect with enough room to bungee and fit her head as that grows too =)

She just loved wearing this and showing it off to everyone she came in contact with. Proud owner of an adorable pillow case and matching headband/hair bow from Mariah Creations . I will definitely be a future buyer for more pillow case dresses and other items!

Birthday Planning

I know I have 4 months to go still but we all know how time just flys by these days. 4 months will be here before we know it, like it or not. Our baby girl will be 2..yes 2 in November. Just the thought of it makes me sad. Our last baby isn't so baby anymore.

I have figured out the theme for her 2nd birthday party.. We are going to go with a Lady Bug theme. Lately she has had a little obsession for Lady Bugs.. she calls them 'Bugs". Now if she finds them in person she might not care for them as much as she does on her clothing, toys or books.

I am excited to plan her birthday. Her 1st birthday I didn't really plan it out and it was more last minute. It was a skulls theme.. Yes I know not your typical 1st birthday but it fit her perfect and us. It was cute..

Now that I have chosen I need to pick a location.. Date will be on her actual birthday since it will be a Saturday this year (yay). I would really love to do it at a park but we just never know at that time what the weather will be like here in Vegas. My sister is moving into her own place soon, hmm maybe she loves me enough to have it ha ha j/k Valerie.

Whoopie Doos Review

       Christa, owner of Whoopie Doos brought over some samples to try "The Original" Whoopie Doo. Christa makes these from scratch at her home for others people to enjoy.

I will start off by saying "YUMMY in my tummy" they are good. So soft and moist, freshly baked to perfection. My children, husband and I enjoyed them with every bite. Wordless Wednesday- Growing TO Fast

Crafty Fun

So you all know I love making hair clips for my little girl.

I have made a name hanging thing for Mariah's room (wood letters decorated by me).

I have made a couple hair bow holders.

Flower hair Clips.

Now I can add baby wipes cover to my list of crafty ability.

I must say not bad for my 1st attempt at it. We attended a baby shower this past weekend and their baby theme is "Bees". So my sister had some cute Bee fabric and I thought hey why not try and make a cover for the wipes case. I carry around one with a pink/black skull covered one.

It may not be perfect but I thought it came out great! We didn't use this one since my sister made one as well.. So being the nice sister I am, I let her use hers but I kept the one I made =)

Maybe I will make another cute pattern one soon and do a fun little giveaway.. Would anyone be interested in a wipes cover? 

Day 30 - My Life the Last Month

Day 30- What have I been up to this past month...

Let's see where do I start?

Boy's finished their 4th and 1st grade school year over a week ago now. They both did great in school this past year.. I couldn't be more proud to be their mama.

My grandpa passed away in May.. That was a very hard week and not a day goes by that I don't think of him... but I do know he is in a better place and we are filled with memories and love to stay with us forever.

I started working for the family business. I am now the secartary , doing most of the paper work. I will do more as time goes on and I get the hang of it more. I get paid by getting us all insurance including dental. So far so good =)

Mariah had her 18mo check up (at 19 months) She now weighs 23lbs and is 32 inches tall. She only had one shot and actually seem to love the doctor we saw since her usual one was booked up for yet another month wait. I may actually start seeing this one since she seemed to really enjoy his presence and he was really good with her. 

Husband was in a car show and he won Best of Show of the whole show. That was pretty exciting for him and us.. We look forward to many more car shows to come with more winning and fun memories with his hobby.

I posted a giveaway this month on my blog (Go check it Out). It ends this Friday and so far it has a great amount of entries. I hope it helps the company out and gets her some business to her site.She really does do awesome work. I love my earrings and wear them a lot. I will be posting more giveaways so stay tuned!

Been having a lot of fun play dates at the water parks and pools here in town. Gotta keep these kiddos busy during their summer vacation.

Got to visit with my best friend last week (She lives in Arizona now). That was really nice to see and chat with her.

I joined my sons school PTA.. I actually am one of next years Vice Presidents of the PTA.. I am excited to be more involved in my children's school and be apart of the upcoming events my children enjoy every year.

What have I missed??? lately things have been crazy so blogging has been put on hold.. I really hope to get more on a schedule and make more time to blog about our fun little adventures..

Work

So as some of you might remember reading in previous posts, I started working for the family business as the secretary. My first real day was this past Monday and everything has gone smoothly thus far. I think once I get a schedule with all the things I need to do I will feel more organized.

My husband made his office a office/ play area for our children so they have somewhere to play and keep busy while mommy works. We need to take the TV down there and connect a PlayStation 2 there so they can play and watch movies. Mariah has some toys down there too so she can keep busy and have fun.

I am working for health insurance for our family. I had to use it already on the 7yo the other day because he was having some issues with having to urinate so much within a 24 hour period. We were sent yesterday to have some blood work down to rule out diabetes and any other issues. I personally think he is OK since the Dr. appointment he has gotten better already. Although I am glad they ran tests as it is always good to know for sure. Hopefully we get the results and get good news that he is healthy as can be!

I need to get back into posting my daily posts. I know I have day 30 to do still too. I had such a fun time doing the 30 days of blogging. Maybe I can find another fun little blog challenge of some sort.

What do I wish for the future...

 For my family to be healthy and live happy lives!

To watch my children grow old and watch them grow into their own families as happy as we are today. 

For us to own our own home.. one we can live in forever and pass down to our children.

To be debt free

To go back to college and finish with a BA (if not higher)

To continue to be the best wife and mommy I can be!

Day 27- Currently Reading

Besides books I read to my little princess, and books the boys sometimes like to read to me, I will say I am not much of a reader. I really don't seem to have time or patience to get into a good book. I have though in the past read some good books and wish I had more time to read. Maybe as the summer is here and may have more down time I can get into some good reads.

I do however have a review coming up on my blog for a book called "The Sun in my Eyes". Stay tuned for that as I am excited to get into reading it and sharing with you my review on it.

Oh I am reading a book I won in a giveaway too, now that I just remembered as I am reading it slowly LOL. Its "What to expect in the second year" That is a good read to learn about all the fun things to come with my baby girl.



Day 26 - Favorite Memory

Day 26- Favorite Memory

Now personally I don't think I can pin point just one memory as a favorite memory. I have had some pretty awesome memories in my lifetime.

The day I met my husband.. If it was not for this day we wouldn't be where we are today.

The day my 1st born was born.. Noah 10 years ago came into our life and filled it with so much happiness and love. I don't think I ever knew just how much my life was going to change, but for all the best.

The day we got married and made it official we were the Gray family!

The day our second son was born.. Isaiah 7 years ago.. He ended up coming a month early but it was the earliest best gift to ever get surprised with. 

The day our last born, our only little girl was born...Mariah a 1.5 year ago came into our lives and completed that last puzzle piece to our family to make us complete.

Becoming a wife and mother have been two of the BEST things to ever happen to me and my 'favorite" memories.

Day 25- 3 Good Things to Happen to Me

1. Celebrating 10 years married to my husband. Seriously to me that is a great accomplishment for us and any other couple to hit that milestone in a marriage. I feel truly blessed to have found such an amazing guy to spend the rest of my life with. Finding that special someone is such an awesome GOOD feeling!

2. Getting health insurance for my family. As most of you know how important health insurance is, you also know just how expensive it is as well if you can't get it from your employer. My father in law is going to be retiring soon so I am taking over as the book keeper/ secretary for the family business and will be receiving health care in return. Yes that is FULL health and dental insurance. This is definitely GOOD news!

3. As much as loosing our grandparents has hurt us, made us very sad.. I will say that there was good that came out of it as well. It brought our families together so see each other even if it was for only a couple days. Living in Vegas with family all over makes it hard to see some of our family members. As for my husbands side we had not seen them in 13 months so it was definitely nice to see all of them in Kansas. Seeing family is always a GOOD thing!

I was given the opportunity to pick out a ring of my choice to review and choice the beautiful Swarovski Pearl Mystic Black Ring as shown here ...

I have never bought a ring unless I had the chance to try on first since I do have pretty small fingers so sizing can be hard.. I choose the size 5-6 and it fits perfect. It has a stretch cord type brand so even if it was a bit to small, It could have still fit perfect into it. I am always kinda picky about wearing stuff that matches my clothing so I picked the black pearl since it matches most of my wardrobe. I also loved the idea of it having 3 pearls on it since it kinda symbolizes my 3 children.

These rings are made of silver plated beads, rhinestones and genuine Swarovski pearls.

They are so perfect in size ( They hang down 1.75 inches and are 1 inch across) and are so light weight that I even forget they were even hanging on my ears. I wore them all day today and must say I am very happy with them. My ears have no sensitivity to them at all. They look great with your hair up and even while your hair is down. I would defiantly recommend these if someone was thinking of making a purchase.

10 Years of Marriage... Happy Anniversary!!!

10 years ago I married my high school sweetheart, my best friend, my love, my soulmate.. my everything..

I thank my husband for 10 years of wonderful memories, 3 beautiful children, everything he does for our family to have the things we have today, for the smiles he brings to my face daily, the laughs, being the best father to our children, and for loving me uncondionally.

I remember the night I met my husband back 14 years ago.. He was babysitting with a buddy of his (his friends neice/nephew). He kept playing little games to get my attention...chasing me around.. tickling me.. you name it he tried it.. He got me that night... couple more dates then we made it officaial as a couple on Febuary 14, 1997. High school sweeties...

Married Saturday June, 2nd 2001 in Las Vegas Nevada..

10 years today of marriage.. I couldn't be happier that I have found my one true love to spend not only these 10 years together but many more years to come.. Someone to grow old with, share even more beautiful memories and watch our children grow...

10 years later and this is what I am blessed with...

I must thank all the wonderful family and friends that have love and  supported us and believed in us since the begining...

I am the happiest and most luckiest girl in the world to be blessed with all I have today!!!
