Summer Break To-Do

Only a little over a month till summer break is over for the boys. School starts the last week of August here in Nevada. Hard to believe this will be the last year in elementary school for my oldest Noah and my youngest son will be in 2nd grade already.

Before break is over we would like to get in as much fun as we can fit in.. Living in Vegas there isn't exactly the most fun filled family things to do but we make the best of it.

* We would like to take a trip to California. Visit family and of course hit up the California coastline to the Beach. Our favorite beach is Huntington Beach.

* Lake Mead boating trip, we would like to go at least once if not more. In laws have a boat so we really don't have any excuse to not go. It may be 100 degrees out and hotter but the lake is always your best bet.

* More pool and park play dates. We love our local splash pads and recreation center pool with fun water slides. Would also like to take the kids to the Shark tank pool at the Golden Nugget. Maybe rent a room for a night and enjoy a little stay cation fun.

* The boys really enjoy casino hopping. They love to go to MGM (to see the lions), M& M store, Bellagio (water show), Sam's Town (water/laser show) and maybe even Mirage (Secret Garden). One other fun place we would like to go since we have never taken the kids ever.. Circus Circus, Adventure Dome.

So I guess it is time to get the calendar out and plan some of these little adventures.

  3. I think the boys about LOVE the Adventure dome. Makenna (49 inches) has already rocked that big coaster, so they would have a BLAST!
