Friday the 13th

Well today started off as normal as a usual Friday.. Waking up to the every morning chatter of 3 kids wanting breakfast. We got ready to go visit daddy at work so I could get my paperwork done (family business) so we could meet two friends for a play date later that afternoon. We left hubby's shop a little before noon.

On the way home we got in some traffic due to the every going construction on one of the local highways. Little did I know I would be in the wrong place and wrong time. There was a Nevada Highway Patrol officer behind me,we finally get out of the traffic and bam there goes the lights and sirens. Wait "WHAT did I do wrong?" At this very moment I start wondering was I speeding, NO way. Like I would be that stupid to do so with a police officer behind me.

I pull over and he tells me right away to get my license,insurance and registration. OK normal stuff right. The says he pulled me over because I did not have a current tag on my truck. You have to be kidding me right?? Well then they check my tint and bam busted for that too.

Needless to say I had to have got two of the dumbest tickets. I would so much of rather got a speeding ticket at least it sounds cooler ha ha. OK not really but you know what I mean.

I can fix the tint ticket but not really sure about the licence plates. Lesson learned.. One don't get stick in traffic in front of a rookie police officer because they will give you a ticket and two make sure my dang sticker is on my plates.

We did still make it to our play date which was a lot of fun!!

Then I get a call from my husband saying that our water heater is broken. Great..We won't be able to fix till tomorrow so we had to take showers at the in laws. Thankfully they only live maybe 3-5 miles from us.

What a day.. and people say Friday the 13th is not a bad unlucky day HA HA.
