My grandpa was an amazing person.. A person of not many words but we knew he loved us more then anything. I have heard stories that in my 31 years of life I had never heard before of my grandpa and my own dads childhood. Seen photos of relatives, my grandfather and grandmother at my age and younger, and even my cute little boy of a dad as he grew up.
I thank you grandpa for the lives you have touched and make a difference in. You were truly special and no one can replace you... although I do see a lot of you in my daddy. I seen the heart break my father has been going through with the loss of his daddy.. my heart hurts & breaks for him.. but I know because of you and how you taught my dad..he is and will always be someone to carry on your ways. He is an amazing father to me and my siblings and an amazing grandfather to my 3 children because he is just life you grandpa.
We may have said our goodbyes to you while in your home, in your bed, but it is not goodbye.. because you will live on always in our hearts and memories.
Thank you Grandpa for being the most amazing man, husband,father,grandfather, uncle,cousin, and friend to everyone that was able to be blessed with having you in their lives.

Life is something we are given only once..so don't let anyone or anything get in your way of your hopes and dreams..don't let the small things consume your life.. Life is a gift.. so don't waste another minute.. Tell those you love that you LOVE them everyday!!!
Im so sorry for you lost. My Grandfather was taken I believe the same week yours did. It is never easy to lose anyone especially a grandma and grandpa. If you ever need someone to talk too, your more than welcome to talk to me. Ive lost three of my grandfathers already. =(
